Due to the high levels of heat output from brake pads on carbon rims, Zipp developed the cork brake pad. The Tangent High Performance Cork Brake Pads provides the rider with amazing stopping performance as well as the durability of a synthetic polymer with the heat resistance and smooth feel of cork. These pads don't pulsate like regular pads made with a rubber compounds as there is no residue build up left behind which also adds to the strong and smooth braking power.
