The result is a mechanic and rider friendly upgrade that lubricates, preserves and protects the patented ultra low friction GORE™ RideOn® shift cables. The complete package yields incredibly light action and precision indexing. Though this system is specifically adapted for traditional down-tube routing installations, and optimized for all SRAM shifters, it is easily adaptable to other drop-bar shifters. It has been rigorously tested and refined throughout the 2008 cyclo cross season and by teams Astana, Saxo Bank, Milram and Agritubel throughout the 2009 pro road season.
